Thanks for all the effort you are putting into this blog it is so helpful to my planning. I saw your AMA on Reddit and you were inundated so decided not to add to your workload! Your videos are great.

I can feel your pain in this video! And I assume your visa issues were sorted out eventually! Got to love US bureaucracy. I am a former Brit, just now US citizen, lots of paperwork 🙂

Thanks for the kind words, i’m glad your finding it helpful. Let me know if there’s anything else i can help with, don’t be afraid to ask.

Yeah that video really shows some emotion, interesting looking back on it now that it’s all done. The visa issues did get sorted but only after a lot of aggro.

      All the best

I”m currently reading your AMA, which is very long however very interesting. When you said the coldest temps you encountered were -5 was that celcius or farenheit? I would assume celcius since you are from across the pond but I”m reading some peoples info that it was 8 degrees in the Smokey’s in April & I could be wrong. Anyway congrats & thanks for the AMA & all the answers you provided.

Yeah the AMA was way more popular than i expected, a nice surprise and I enjoyed doing it. Yeah around -5 c I believe but I cant remember exactly but it was damn cold 🙂

The smokeys are so high in elevation that its basically its own microclimate.

      Thanks for the kind words
